Photo Slide Show from 2007 Retreat

Retreat at Dayspring is a time to be silent and open to an encounter with God in the interior and exterior silence. We believe that our world provides too little time and space for reflection, prayer and contemplation. The silence of retreat is a gift we give ourselves and others who are with us. The primary purpose of silent retreat is to foster an atmosphere in which retreatants may be led to a personal encounter with God.

You are welcome to arrive at anytime Friday afternoon. All meals, beginning Friday dinner, through Sunday luncheon are included. Each person will have their own room with a single bed and sink. Showers are down the hall - so bring a robe! We will enter into silence after our meal on Friday and remain in silence through our Sunday meal. Afterwards, we will have a time of sharing and reflection. A selection of books and quiet music will be available in the common room. The retreat center includes about 100 acres of land, so bring your walking shoes, maybe a journal and yoga mat - whatever you might enjoy and brings your closer to your inner quiet. We suggest "unplugging" from normal life, so leave your computer and blackberry at home.
