From Metrorail. As you board Metrorail get a free bus transfer. Take the Metrorail Red Line to the Tenleytown/AU station. Exit on the west side of Wisconsin Avenue. Take any “30” series bus (#30, #32, #34 or #36) going south on Wisconsin Avenue. Ride approximately 1 1/2 miles south on Wisconsin Avenue to the Cathedral. At Woodly Road, the National Cathedral School building will be on your left as you cross the street.

From Dupont Circle. Take the N2, N3, N4 or N6 bus until you reach the corner of Massachusetts and Wisconsin Avenues. Walk north on Wisconsin one block to Woodley Road on your right. The NCS building will be on your right.

From Woodley Park. Take #90 or #92 bus toward McLean Gardens. Get off the bus at the corner of Woodley Road and Wisconsin Avenue. The NCS is on the east side of Wisconsin Avenue.

By Car:

Directions From Downtown Washington. Take Massachusetts Avenue north and follow to Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right onto Wisconsin Avenue. Then turn onto the Cathedral grounds at the second right.

Directions From Maryland and the North. Take I-95 to I-495 west, the capital Beltway. Exit south on Old Georgetown Road. Take Old Georgetown Road to Wisconsin Avenue, turn right. The Cathedral will be approximately 3 1/2 miles on your left. Or, take I-495 to the Wisconsin Avenue/Bethesda exit. The Cathedral will be approximately 6 1/2 miles on your left.

From Virginia and the South. Take the Memorial Bridge into DC. Once you cross the bridge, bear right onto Rock Creek Parkway. Follow the Parkway approximately 1 mile, take the Massachusetts Avenue exit to the right. The exit will deadend at a light at Massachusetts Avenue, turn left. Go approximately 1/2 mile to Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right and enter the Cathedral grounds at the second right. OR Cross the Key Bridge from Rosslyn into Georgetown. Turn right on M Street. Go 1 block and turn left at the light onto 33Rd St. Go approx 1/2 mi and turn left on Wisconsin Ave. Go approx 1.2 miles. The Cathedral will be on your right.

Parking

A new underground parking facility is now open. The entry is on Wisconsin Avenue and parking is free on Sundays. Parking is also available on the side streets near the close.

Via Metrorail and Metrobus:

Services are held Sunday morning at 10 am in the Hearst Hall Auditorium of the National Cathedral School. The school is located on the north side of the grounds of the Washington National Cathedral at the corner of Woodley Road and Wisconsin Avenue in NW Washington. The most convenient entrance to the Cathedral grounds is from Wisconsin Avenue.
