Affirmative Intentions for Our Ministry We affirm our unity with Holy Spirit and with all Humankind. We give thanks for Divine Order in our lives and acknowledge the presence of the Christ within. We ask that Divine peace, prosperity, and enlightenment manifest in our congregation, our city, our nation, and our world - and that we live our daily lives as expressions of Divine Love. We are grateful for our blessings and ask to be guided in the right direction so that we fulfill our Divine purpose on earth. Help us to serve with a grateful heart. Thank you, God. |

Board of Trustees • Trustees of our board are volunteers who are members of COTH. • They each serve a two-year term on a rotational basis. Elections for the board are held at the annual membership meeting on the first Sunday of November. • Please feel free to contact any board member with suggestions, questions, praises or concerns. An open dialog is a vital element of a loving relationship and we welcome all input. |

Brief History of COTH • CommUnity on the Hill was founded by the late Reverand Amalie Frank in 1994. • Originally located in a Methodist Church on Capital Hill in Southeast Washington, we relocated in 2000 to the National Cathedral School on the Grounds of the National Cathedral in Northwest Washington, DC. • We are a member of the Association of Unity Churches, headquartered in Kansas City, MS. • We have no permanent minister, but rather have an abundance of excellent speakers from which to choose from for our Sunday Services. • Ministerial functions are performed by our beloved Reverand LaFayette Seymour, a Unity minister from the Unity Center of Truth, also located in Washington DC. • We are governed by a volunteer board of trustees which is elected by the membership at our annual membership meeting held in November. • We have three paid positions: our Office Manager, our Music Director and our Child Care Provider. All other activites are contributed by volunteers. • We are a non-profit, charitable organization, 501(3)(c), incorporated in the District of Columbia. |
