Have you ever found yourself in a place that is new to you and yet instantly familiar and inviting? We are such a place. Come, walk with us for a while. There is room for everyone on this path.

We are CommUnity on the Hill, a Unity congregation. We are serious Truth students who follow the teachings of Jesus, the Christ. We reinforce each other in our quest to remember our oneness with God. We laugh, sing, and celebrate at our beautiful Sunday services, where all are welcome. Through prayer, meditation, forgiveness, and mindful, loving activities, we seek and affirm all that is Good and all that is True and, that we are all one.

In loving service to Divine Truth, we nurture a welcoming community dedicated to the activity of Spirit.

Together, we embrace our Christ Consciousness as beacons of Love, Light and Truth.

Sunday Services are held 1 pm, 945 G Street NW, Washington DC 20001

Unity's Five Basic Principles

Unity has no set creed or dogma that its members must follow. Unity encourages people to explore and apply Unity teachings based on their own spiritual understanding. This spiritual understanding is enhanced through reflective prayer and meditation.

The five basic ideas of the Unity belief system are:

1) God is all-good and is present everywhere.

2) The spirit of God lives within each person.

3) We create our life experiences through our thoughts.

4) There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God.

5) Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.
